The door that God has opened for Harvey and for me in Tanzania is amazing. Through a divine appointment more than three years ago, I met the Bishop of a certain denomination in Tanzania. He is head (under Christ) of that denomination. As a result of God’s putting me in the bishop’s path, Harvey and I have had amazing favor and opportunities in Tanzania. Through that relationship, Harvey and I have ministered in 2006 and 2007 to the entire denomination. This was a church that did not know of the new birth, the assurance of salvation, the prosperity of God’s economy in tithing, our identity as believers, or the role of women in the Body. Through our ministry, their pastors have obtained salvation, come to understand the meaning of the new birth and are ministering salvation to the entire denomination, thousands of people. They have begun a Bible school to teach these foundational truths and, after teaching their pastors at a very in-depth level for 10 days, we sent three key doctrinal books for each of those pastors. This entire denomination is completely changed, going in a new direction and the full effect certainly defies description here. Inside, I am still just an ordinary little girl from North Dakota who loves God. How can I share what God did without sounding like a clanging cymbal or a self-tooting horn? God’s grace touched us all.
